The best light and refreshing summer alcholic beverage is?!

Question:

The best light and refreshing summer alcholic beverage is?

Optimum word here is: LIGHT. I can't stand heavy liquor drinks. For example I do like mimosa's.
other suggestions?

Answers:
here's a couple refreshing ones

bomb pomp: UV blue, lemonade, and grendadine (they usually serve it layered to look like a bomb pop..

adult lemonade: lemonade, citrus vodka, and chambord.

It's not that light, but Harpoons Summer Ale is a great summer beer.

1 can frozen lemon aid
1 can vodka
put in blender add ice wow refreshing on a hot summer day
korkie

mojitos. alter the amount of rum to your liking.

I tried a couple new one's today. Pucker has a new flavor "Pomegranite" mixed with 7-up or Mt. Dew...it's very summery. Also, Bacardi has a new Peach Red out and this is really good with Orange Juice, Cranberry Juice and a dash of grenadine! I hope I've helped.

make yourself some elderflower champagne, can be made alcoholic or non alcoholic, it tastes so light and slightly bubbles so beautiful, and real cheap and easy to make, get a recipe from google!!
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM..........

or tequila sunrise, they are the best!! but go down a little too easy as i remember...

Well...I was going to say Gin and Tonic, but if you don't like the taste of liquor that won't work for you. How about a flavored rum mixed with sprite?

Rum mixes well with fruit juices. For very light, I kind of like a carbonated flavored water like Poland Springs Lime - to which you can add a some ice cubes, a splash or two of clear/light rum, and perhaps a twist of lime. If you like lemon, go that way. Or you can just add some rum to lemonade and ice cubes. If it's a non-carbonated mixer, you can always toss it all together in a blender to make a boozie smoothie. I think rum tastes especially good with pineapple and/or coconut (like in a Pina Colada).

Cape Cod

1oz. Vodka
Cranberry Juice
Lime Wedge

In a Highball or bucket glass with ice add vodka.
Fill with cranberry juice.
Squeeze Lime and drop in the glass.

(If the cranberry juice is too tart/strong for you, add some sparkling water to it.)

Some people like a 7 & 7

A classic whiskey recipe. Use a highball glass, and fill it with cubed ice. Add the whiskey and 7-up, stir slightly, and garnish with a lemon wedge.

Recommended: Seagram's 7 Whiskey (hence 7 and 7)

I used to like Canadian Club (whiskey) and gingerale - a "CC & Ginger". It's a little light.

Of course, a little vodka and 7-up with a twist of lime or lemon is good.

have you ever tried twisted teas?
they are sooo yummy!
it s a hard iced tea.
my favorite is the half and half ones.
it s half iced tea, and half lemonade! yum!

If you ever go to Ruby Tuesday, try a Ruby Relaxer or a Strawbery lemonade with rum or vodka! Refreshing and yummy!!!

I like a white wine sangria...

I bottle white wine (sauvignon blanc is lighter than say a chardonnay or pinot grigio)

2 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced

1/2 cup sliced strawberries

2 kiwi fruit sliced

2 tbs. fine sugar.

Mix fruit with sugar in a large pitcher. Pour over bottle of wine and stir let chill in refrigerator at least 2 hours before serving. Can be poured straight or over ice.

I also like a Korean liquor called soju - it is similar to vodka but a little sweeter and only 40 proof (20% alcohol) If you can find soju, you can make my Evil Queen:

2 oz. soju
2 oz ruby red grapefruit juice
1 oz pomegranate juice

Shake well with ice and serve up in a martini glass.

Cheers!

Sam adams summer ale

The nicest easy summer drink is Italian Moscato di Asti. It is light with a slight frizzante of carbon dioxide and is sweet with lovely citrusy, lemony aroma. Only 5 - 6% alcohol!!! So you can sip without gettins smashed. Also, you can add a shot of pomegranite juice or liquor and it is perfect!

Bucks Fizz Half a glass of Cava semi seco and half chilled freshly squeezed orange juice
