Question:

It just wastes so much time. If your bartender is busy, order something easy, they'll respect you for that and will come back to you for your order before those ordering time consuming drinks (if they aren't busy then no big deal). If one person walks away from this learning something today, i just saved a bartender a few minutes, therefore resulting in them making more money. Cheers!

I'm a bartender and we all have to make them the same way, there's no getting around it (and no premade mix).

Answers:

Obviously you people haven't worked behind a bar. If you did, you realize that making a good mojito is atleast a 3 minute job. It has nothing to do with being capable of doing your job, they are simply a pain in the ***. Everytime that stupid *** commercial comes on, i want to kick out my T.V. Anyone who orders a mojito at a busy bar should expect it to either be halfassed (mint thrown in a glass with some cheap rum and sprite) or wait 10 minutes for the drink. Don't be a pain and just order a vodka tonic for christ's sake.
