Has a particular box wine changed your opinion of box wines in general?!

Question:

Has a particular box wine changed your opinion of box wines in general?

Answers:

The person above me is wrong about boxed wines. Once opened, they can be slowly consumed and not lose any flavor. Why? Because the spout does not allow air in to oxidize the wine. Therefore, the wines last a LOT longer. I've had them last for 6 months or more, because I'm the only one drinking them. A bottle of wine is meant to be consumed within a day or two of opening. Why? Because once the cork is out of the bottle, it starts to oxidize. Once a wine starts to oxidize, it isn't fit for drinking, but is excellent for cooking.

I have quite a few bottles in my wine "cellar". I'll be getting a few more bottles when I go to the wine and jazz festival in Morgantown, WV next month. I'll still buy a box of wine, so my bottle collection can continue to grow.

If you want a truly horrible wine..... buy mad dog or ripple.... or riunite royal raspberry. Riunite's Lambrusco isn't bad.... as long as you like a dry red.
