Has anyone had habu sake??? what did u think about it???

i am thinking of ordering it online, but it costs alot, so i wanted to see if anyone else had it and could tell me what it tastes like.

I live in Japan and can tell you that Habu sake (aka, habu-syu) has a very strong kick to it. The Habu snake is a very poisonous sake from Okinawa Prefecture in Southern Japan and kills several people every year. There is some concern that Habu-syu can be dangerous to drink because of the poision of the snake. It looks pretty cool with the snake all wound up in the bottle but it takes some guts to drink. I prefer a rum-and-coke over it. It's not like typical japanese sake. Not too sweet, but it will be a unique flavor, maybe similar to tequilla. Enjoy.
