I don't have another cork or a cork stop.

Answers:

I assume you mean the cork is completely in floating in the wine.

1/ plastic cork
there are stoppers available at home shops and super markets. If you have some at home, it would be easy. If not, suggest to stock a couple at home for future use

2/ plastic wrap with rubber band
it may not be good but better than none. The key is to add a thin layer of butter one inch away from the opening around the bottle (to avoid air leaking in). Wrap around a plastic food wrap tightly. Then finish with rubber band tightly. A non-inflated rubber balloon can also do the job but sometimes, the smell of rubber may go into the wine.

3/ change to any bottle that with a stopper
Wine can still survive for 1 day after changing bottle. I always pour wine into another plastic bottle when travelling overseas as glass is easily breakable. Just make sure the bottle is clean and dry.

4/ clay
If it happens that your got some clay (those kind children will play with, you can also use it to close the bottle. But squeeze it tight on the sides, not on top, otherwise, it would be difficult to remove it.

hope the above helps.
