What are some good dranks/shots/mixed?!

Question:

What are some good dranks/shots/mixed?

I know a bunch of good drinks. I was just wondering what people call them and whats in them. If someone could list all they know, it would be great.
For Example:
- Screwdriver (OJ and Vodka)

Answers:

If I listed all the drinks I knew, I'd be typing all night! ;)

I tend to prefer straight whiskey, scotch, or bourbon. (Brands such as Jack Daniels, Southern Comfort, Johnnie Walker, Crown Royal, Wild Turkey, Jim Beam, etc..)

As far as mixed drinks, let's see:

"Mint Julep"

4 fresh mint sprigs
2 1/2 oz bourbon whiskey
1 tsp powdered sugar
2 tsp water

Muddle mint leaves, powdered sugar, and water in a collins glass. Fill the glass with shaved or crushed ice and add bourbon. Top with more ice and garnish with a mint sprig. Serve with a straw.

"Cotton mouth"

2 oz Crown Royal? Canadian whisky
3 oz peach schnapps
1 splash sweet and sour mix
1 splash water

Shake ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into a glass full of ice.

"Dixieland Tea"

2 oz whiskey
1/2 oz amaretto almond liqueur
fill with iced tea

Shake or stir. Garnish with a lemon wedge.

"Iced Velvet"

1 oz Black Velvet? Canadian whisky
fill with iced tea

Fill a highball glass with ice. Pour black velvet canadian whisky over the top. Fill with iced tea. Stir with a straw.

"Scotch Cooler"

2 oz Scotch whisky
3 dashes white creme de menthe
carbonated water

Pour scotch and creme de menthe over ice cubes in a highball glass. Fill with carbonated water, stir, and serve.

"Wild Cherry"

1 1/2 oz Wild Turkey? bourbon whiskey
1/2 oz cherry brandy
1/4 oz white creme de cacao
4 oz cherryade

Pour into an ice-filled highball glass. Garnish with a cherry and a sprig of mint, and serve.
