Do you mix Juice, Sugar, water, and yeast? let it ferment and then distill it?

Pretty much, yes, that's about all of it.
But the recipe for the fermentation is only half of it. Distilling it is the other half, and the perfect recipe is wasted if you don't know how to distill it.
