Should a liquid yeast that is refrigerated, be warmed to its active temperature before pitching into the wort?
Or is it okay to go straight from the fridge to the cooled wort?
Answers:
i'm of the school of thought that any radical environmental change isn't good for your yeast. you should remove it from the refrigerator and allow it to return to pitching temperature before you pitch. If it's a "smack pack" just smack it and let it inflate in your brewing area.
