Serving alcohol in Illinois?!

Question:

Serving alcohol in Illinois?

How old does a person have to be to serve alcohol at a bar in Illinois? The reason I ask is because I know that the laws governing this vary from state to state(some are 18+ while others are 21+). If the answer is in fact 21+ is it possible to work as a barback, the bartenders assistant, at age 18?

Answers:
In any city limits you have to be 21, in the county you can be 18. I know since I had to follow these rules when I served alcohol in central illinois.

I know in the area of Illinois I live in you only have to be 18 to serve or sell alcohol.

Anywhere in the U.S 18 to serve, 21 to drink.
