Why don't labels on alcohol display nutritional (calorie) information?!

Question:

Why don't labels on alcohol display nutritional (calorie) information?

Even water has to display nutritional information, but alcoholic beverages don't. Anyone know why?

Answers:
alot of beers do have calories on them. not sure about wine and liquor.

U shouldn't drink alcohol, it's very bad for u & everyone around u! Besides, it makes u fat, it's FULL of calories...if u knew how much, they couldn't sell it to u!!

If you worry - - Abstain.

alcohol has no nutritional values at all, only the stuff its mixed with, most people know that beer is made from hops or barley and most whiskeys are made from corn. just find out what your choice of liquor is primarily made of and that is the nutritional value

If you are getting drunk who the hell cares if a pint crown royal is going straight to their thighs I mean think about it

The FDA wants nutritional labels only on food. And they don't consider alcohol food.
