How to prevent stomach from becoming upset after drinking?!

Question:

How to prevent stomach from becoming upset after drinking?

My stomach can sometimes become real irrated after drinking. Suppose I am going to have 5 or 6 beers over all night and how can I prevent my stomach to hurt so bad...will food or anything work to make it so the alcohol won't irrate it and give me a bad feeling?

Answers:

If you have a problem with yeast or wheat, I would avoid beer. It should be less irritating than cider and coolers, which I avoid, along with red wine. I prefer white wine, beer, blush wine, champagne and very occasionally, something like blueberry tea, a brown cow or some schnapps on the rocks.

Do not eat anything with the beer but have a slice or two of plain whole grain bread after. Do not eat any dairy or sugary products. For a hangover, I suggest a plate of fried eggs, buttered brown toast, some fried chicken and coffee in the morning. Completely goes against most of my dietary principles but is great for alleviating a hangover. Also, some Alka-Seltzer Plus. For flus and nights of insomnia, take a Contac-C. Avoid Tylenol, Aspirin and grapefruit juice while using it.
