Drinking and Driving?
I don't understand how people preach "don't drink and drive" but serve alcohol at restaurants events, parties, etc. How can you trust a person who has been drinking and is intoxicated to avoid getting in the driver's seat of a car and killing someone.
Does anyone else see irony in it?
I think our culture should crack down on the alcohol scene more than it does with cigarettes, etc.
You can't trust that someone will be responsible enough to call a cab....and u can't trust that the cop will pull them over before its toooooo late!!!!

I totally agree. Especially in college. There's WAY too much irresponsible drinking encouraged.
I know the heavy drinkers are going to call this "party pooper" mentality, but it's just maturity and responsibilty. We all pay for these accidents and deaths and not just with our wallets.
