Wine has a substance known as malonic acid in it. This chemical helps digest fat away from the heart, so it is good against heart disease. It makes the fat easier to digest, so yes, it is healthy. Too much gives too much acid which may burn the intestinal lining. Hope this helps.

i guess. i have been told quite a few time by family members regarding this. but i heard only for red one though. a glass of red wine a day keeps your doctor away :)

Two glasses of red wine a day is very good for the health, promotes a healthy, vital pumping heart.

One glass being a small glass (1 - 1.5 units) is the recommended allowance. A large glass... which i used to have with dinner....can be up to 3.5 units which is over double that amount.... frightening!!!

well.... it depends on ur age. i think a younger person will benefit from less wine. i think one glass is ok and i have heard that red wine (in small doses) has benefits to the heart. good luck!

When I was growing up my dad was a big wine buff and he drank a glass at dinner nearly every day. he's a doctor and he told me that it's a good, healthy thing to do.

he's very healthy now at 60. still running and exercising. and he looks younger too!
