How do you measure 1 ounce of liquor?!

Question:

How do you measure 1 ounce of liquor?

I don't have a scale to weigh the actual drink, Bacarda 151, but I remember reading that most liquors weigh close to the same. Could I measure with a teaspoon, tablespoon or measuring cup? I don't need to be exact, just close.

Answers:

Liquid measure is best done by volume rather than by weight. You can only be certain when dealing with a liquid that has a specific gravity of 1, such as water. Alcohol is close, but still not exact (although when it come to mixing drinks, the difference is negligible.)

1 fluid ounce equals --
1/8 of a cup.
2 Tablespoons.
6 Teaspoons.
