What kind of mix drink shaker should i get for my busy party?
I've been through different shakers and they've all failed me. some end up with crack lids while others end up closing tight for ever. any suggestioins and places to get shakers that do not fail?

A Boston Shaker
Cocktail shaking apparatus preferred by most professional bartenders; the key is that the mixing glass creates a seal with the stainless steel half when gently tapped into place. The cocktail can then be shaken without fear of making a mess. (Beginners are advised to practice with water in an before attempting to use a Boston shaker to make cocktails.) Also, the combination of one simple glass part and one simple metal part allows for very easy and speedy cleanup. Moreover, the utter utility of the pieces made the Boston shaker very popular; the glass half did triple duty - often used as a serving glass for fancy mixed drinks and for beer

The glass part isn't very durable, but the Boston Shaker is very basic but very showy as well. When used right, it creates a good seal, strains, and puts up a good visual when mixing drinks. I put up the fancy martini shaker and now use this regularly instead.
I like my stainless steel shaker for home use, but for a party go to a "nick nack" type store and buy a few cheap plastic cocktail shakers, there cheap and no big deal if one gets lost or broken. Also people can mix different drinks at the same time.
