Answers:

nothing beats charles shaw at trader joe's (i'm sure they must sell it other places as well, but that's where i get it)...it's 39.99/case, and about 4.99 a bottle. very good as cheap wines go- i drink the merlot all the time.

target also does a not too shabby boxed wine- a cube is maybe 4 bottles and they're 17 or 18 dollars- plus it keeps longer than re-corking the bottle.
