Does anyone else feel like they feel better the 2nd morning after drinking 2 nights in a row?!

Question:

Does anyone else feel like they feel better the 2nd morning after drinking 2 nights in a row?

For me, it seems like if I drink 2 nights in a row, I may feel a slight, too heavy hangover on the first morning but the 2nd day, I feel virtually no hangover(I am still a little tired but not sick). And I usually have less sleep on the 2nd night. I have only done 3 nights in a row once, but my body felt wasted, althought I didnt feel sick. Back to the 2nd morning though, so far I have used this to my advantage. For example, if I dont have a reason to drink on a Monday, but do on a Tuesday despite having to wake up early on Wednsday, I will drink monday purely for the advantage of not feeling sick on weds.(Disclaimer, I actually only drink on the weekends, those days were just the first to come to me)

Anyways, does anyone have an explanation?

Answers:

sorry, no explanations but I have exactly the same experience here in Borneo - and many of my friends are the same. Here, week-long parties (with LOTS of drinking rice wine, rice alcohol, palm beer etc self-understood) are not too uncommon. I tend to enjoy the first evening too much and thus the next morning is not too nice at all but soon (like 7 am) comes the next round. I have to force myself, but from then on it is rather fine... the second day wake up, no problem, continue etc.

I think our body gets 'alcoholic' very quickly, and the alcohol actually supresses pain. So we don't feel any headache. I just assume this, because when I go home after such a week or so, for the next few days I have a terrible craving for alcohol but I deprive myself because I want my system clensed... I really think it is the first step to becoming an alcoholic... just we have to control ourselves, not everyday is a Monday, and we actually can - so far!
