I made the mistake of buying Bacarda 151, how can I reduce the effects of the alcohol?!

Question:

I made the mistake of buying Bacarda 151, how can I reduce the effects of the alcohol?

I want to use this strong drink that I bought stupidly, but I need to tone down the strength of it so it doesn't make me extremely intoxicated & sick. I have water, pepsi and orange juice in the fridge. So what combination and about how much of each could I use to reduce the effects of the alcohol?

What is considered 1 shot of rum? How much of it do you think I can drink if I have low body fat, 5'6", 115 lbs, and am not used to drinking?

Answers:

Very simple - dilution. Mix 1 part rum to 9 parts mixer and the alcohol content will be reduced to 7.5% (from its "raw' 75%). This means that if you pour a one ounce shot into a 12 ounce glass, add 9 ounces of mixer, and top off with ice, you'll have a drink with only slightly more alcohol than a bottle of beer.
