I would like to find a recipe for a pomegranate margarita?!

Question:

I would like to find a recipe for a pomegranate margarita?

doesn't that sound so yummy? i cant find it on any of the bartending search engines, maybe i will invent my own? unless someone has a good one! thanks in advance

Answers:
I would start with the classic margarita and add Fresh pomegranate and a bit of Grenadine:
- 2 parts tequila
- 2 parts fresh lime juice
- 1 part Cointreau (or Grand Marnier, it's more honeyed and has less bite)
- 1/2 a Pomegranate (seeds included, just scrap the white husk)
Shake and pour this, seeds and all, into tall glasses packed with ice-cubes, not frozen or straight-up, with a sugared rim instead of salt.
- a small splash of Grenadine (pomegranate liqueur or syrup) poured through the full drink will sweeten and enhance the fruit-flavour. Not too much though!

find some pomegranate liquor like Xstasy
add one shot to 1/2 shot of grand mariner
lime juice splash of sour shake over ice or blend add sugar to the rim for a good effect

try allrecipes.com

MMMMM, yes it does sound yummy.

Try this recipe on for size:

2 ounces tequila (your choice of brand)
1 ounce Pama pomegranate liqueur (or any other pomegranate juice or liqueur.schnapps you may like)
1/2 ounce orange liqueur (Grand Marnier, Cointreau etc.)
splash of lime juice

Shake everything together and pour into a margarita glass. Or blend to make it frozen. Enjoy!

Okay I make them all the time here's my recipe

1 and 1/2 Parts Grey Goose Vodka
1 Part Pom pure pomegranate juice
squeeze of lime juice.
shake and strain into chilled martini glass.

Pomegranate liqueurs and too sweet and candy flavoured
Other liqueurs muck up the pom flavour. more is not better.

Sorry I thoungt it said Martini. I stand by my recipe though extra yummy

I do it all the time...

Simply buy some 100% pomergranate juice,(much of it is actually blended with other juices) and try to get it not from concentrate.

the brand "Pom" is good..

Then use expensive tequila..

I mix mine about 1/2 parts each juice and tequila with a twist of lime, over the rocks (no salt). You can try several techniques of serving as described by others, above..

Also, fresh guava juice makes for a fetching margarita...

As for "frozen" margarits: Cheaper tequila will do, and I like to use fresh fruit under those circumstances (but not pomegranate)

I know, the others said they were bartenders, but I am THE bartender. Three olives vodka makes a Pomegranate vodka. Use that in place of tequila. You will have a slight pomegranate flavor, and it won't be as overpowering as a pomegranate liqueur. 1 1/2 oz of the vodka and a 1/2 oz of Cointreau, add an ounce of lime juice and 3oz of sour mix. shake and pour over ice with a salted rim. Take some Gran Marnier and float it on top! It will be much better than everyone else's recipe!
