Got Martinis?!

Question:

Got Martinis?

Need receipes for your yummy martinis...and the most easiest ones.

Answers:
Try this-

Ultimate Chocolate Martini
1.5 oz Vanilla vodka
.5 oz Godiva dark chocolate liqueur
.5 oz godiva light chocolate liqueur

Shake and strain into chilled martini glass.

Oh, and BTW- anyone who tells you to put 5 oz of any kind of alcohol into a martini is trying to kill you. That's retarded and dangerous- not to mention, it makes a strong drink that doesn't taste very good. Most bars (if free pouring) will put 1.5-2 oz of liquor in a martini.

Standard gin martini
Many contend that the gin martini is the only mix fitting to wear the name "martini," and all other cocktails are impostors. We love a good gin martini, but we say "hogwash" to the naming issue.

Ingredients

6 ounces of freezing Bombay Sapphire or Mercury gin.
5 drops of Noilly Pratt dry vermouth.
2 small twists of lemon rind.
2 Picholine olives.
The mix

Fill a glass martini shaker about 3/4 full of cracked, clean ice.
Pour your gin into the shaker and let stand for sixty seconds. Count down from sixty to zero.
Approach your shaker with caution, and lovingly apply the lid.
Shake, shake, shake. About fifteen, vigorous, diagonal shakes should do the trick.
Put that shaker down and get two well chilled martini glasses from the fridge or freezer. Allow the shaker to rest for about another sixty seconds.
Into each glass drop two drops of vermouth (the fifth drop is just for good luck).
Each glass gets a twist and an olive (the olive is optional--though we love em).
Strain your very chilly gin into each glass.
Chink and enjoy.

Do hope I have helped you !!?? Enjoy and have fun.

I prefer a Gibson, which is like a martini but uses a cocktail onion instead of an olive. I also use vodka instead of gin and of course vermouth. Occasionally I use a little bit of saki too. Don't get me wrong I do like martinis with olives too. And always remember shaken not stirred. P.S. You'll have to experiment with the measurements and different brands to suit your individual taste.

The very popular, can't go wrong APPLE MARTINI.
My personal recipe:
Any type of Citron Vodka, Absolute Citron, , Smirnoff Citron, Kettle One Citron (Highly recommended). Dekeuypers Sour Apple Pucker and sour mix. 11/4 oz of vodka citron, 3/4oz of apple pucker and about 2 to 3 oz of sour mix. Alter the recipe to your preferred taste. Shake the heck out of it and strain in to a martini glass. Cherry or green apple slice for garnish is optional.

Two SUPER easy, YUMMY martini recipes:

Appletini:

Equal parts sour apple vodka and apple pucker. Shake over lots of ice, at least 50 times, until really cold. Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a granny smith apple slice.

Chocolatini:

Equal parts vodka (or vanilla vodka) and creme de cacao. Shake same as above and garnish with a couple of chocolate chips. Clear and chocolate-y!
