Italian Red Wine comparable to cabernet sauv?

If I like cabernet sauvingnon what type of red wine in Italy would I like? I do not like too dry and prefer a hint of sweetness

Answers:

To me, a cabernet by itself tends to be a bit woody and an acrid aftertaste.

As for Italian red wines, I like Bardolino and Montepulciano.
