could anyone tell me what kind of wine goes with certain foods?
Answers:
Think about it like this: how fatty is the food? Big fatty t bone steak= big cabernet. Lighter meats like duck and salmon go with lighter reds like a pinot noir. This is because the tannins in the wine cuts through the fat in the food, thus bring out the flavor of both the food and the wine.
Shrimp and light whitefish need a white wine however.
