Answers:

Ignore the fools above, they don't realize what they don't know. This is a valid and intelligent question if you want to make such a product as Bailey's. But a homogenizer is expensive and only appropriate for commercial use.

Milk has fat in it and will generally separate from water or alcohol based mixtures, unless it is homogenized. This breaks the fat into small globules that will stay in suspension in the fluid.

There are many types of homogenizers - inline shear mixers ($5000 - $10,000), microfluidizers ($50,000 - $200,000), high pressure homogenizers ($100,000 - $500,000+).

If this is a home application, a good high quality blender will be your best option, but it will not truly homogenize your mixture and will separate.

For commercial applications, the vendors of the equipment will be able to tell you exactly what their equipment can and cannot do for your specific recipe(s).
