How long does a keg of beer stay good?!

Question:

How long does a keg of beer stay good?

I have had this keg of beer since july and was trying to plan a party but the perty never happened so is it still good?

Answers:

Okay, so if it has been tapped you have at the absolute longest 30 days before it goes bad. Most bars worth there salt will change an old keg out after 3 weeks for two reasons. First being that is will start to go bad. Second because if it isn't gone by the end of the two weeks you aren't making money off of it and need to get something in there that will.

The best thing to do is try it. It won't hurt you, it will just taste bad if its off.

Good luck.
