What else can I mix with Rum?!

Question:

What else can I mix with Rum?

Im tired of rum and coke, and mojito's. Does anyone have any odd favorites? Also, does anyone know how to make a propper rum punch, with nutmeg and all?

Answers:
My husband and I are huge fans of rum! Our favorite types are Monarch 151 as well as Gosling 151.

Our favorite mixtures:
1) Firecracker (shaken, on the rocks)-
--1/3 cup orange & cranberry juice
--1-2 jiggers of rum
--1 jigger of Goldschlager (cinnamon schnapps)

2) Root Beer & Rum (prepare like a rum & coke)

3) Pineapple-infused rum (combine all ingredients in a covered jug and refrigerate for 2 days. Pour over ice & enjoy!)
-- 1 whole pineapple, sliced into chunks or rings
-- 1 large can of pineapple juice (Dole is fine)
-- 1/2 a bottle of rum

There's the old 70's favourite rum and blackcurrant.

I know it sounds terrible, but you may want to try: White Rum and Tonic. It is a very refreshing drink, quite different from anything you've tried before. Cheers!

The following are things that can be mixed with rum: Orange juice, apple juice, grapefruit juice, club soda, or tonic water.
