What are some dessert wines?

i don't want specific brands, just the names of the types of wine.

e.g. sauvignon blanc, chardonnay (yes i know these are probably not dessert wines)

Answers:

My sister, the cook, says, they're the ones that taste sweet. The label will usually say 'dessert wine' or 'sweet wine'. The only ones I know of is the Riesling and the Muscat.
