im my opinion. Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum :)
Appleton Jamaican rum. Bacardi is the most popular but Appletons is by far the best.
Mt Gay rum. This is not an answer to offend gay people. This is a very smooth amber/gold colour rum,good to mix for all sorts of rum drinks.Check out their web page.
While I agree Mount Gay is a fabulous rum my choice for best rum is definitely Cruzan . They have a whole line of flavored rums but I think their 5 yr old amber and their 12 yr old single barrel are just like their tag line . Simply Better Rum
