Is it possible to make alcohol out of peyote?!

Is it possible to make alcohol out of peyote?

I know peyote makes a person psychodelic, and I've heard that anything that can ferment can make alcohol, so...

Can those effects be combined, by fermenting and distilling peyote?

But I'll warn you that the flesh of the plant can be turned into alcohol, resembling tequila; and the flower is the part with the psychotropic ingredients. And if it could have been profitable to harness and combine such powers, my generation would have done it in the 1960's.
