Wine offers in supermarkets - why oh why?!

Question:

Wine offers in supermarkets - why oh why?

is it always chardonnay?

I am not a big fan of chardonnay but it seems to always be the only grape variety involved in offers.

Last week Sainsbury's had 20% off taste the difference gewurztraminer - which is gorgeous but today I had to pay full price for it or drink flippin chardonnay!

why is this?

Answers:

I always buy online from Laithwaites, I have never had a bad bottle, never had a hangover (which I do get with stuff from supermarket) and they have some excellent offers. Check em out. Like you, I'm not a great lover of the old charders.
