Have you ever had a Flaming Dr. Pepper?!

Question:

Have you ever had a Flaming Dr. Pepper?

My best friend and I found the recipe on how to make them and I was just wondering if it really does taste like Dr. Pepper?

Answers:
This shot does taste like Dr.Pepper and is very potent.
You will like them trust me

3/4 shot amaretto almond liqueur
1/4 oz 151 proof rum
1/2 glass beer

1. Fill a shot glass about 3/4 full with amaretto and top it off with enough 151 proof rum to be able to burn.

2. Place the shot glass in another glass and fill the outer glass with beer (right up to the level of the shot glass).

3. Ignite the amaretto/151 and let it burn for a while. Blow it out (or leave it burning if you're brave - not recommended) and slam it. Tastes just like Dr. Pepper.

never heard of it.

Yes it does... They are very good.

Yes and yes it does taste very much like a Dr Pepper.

no, but it sounds good...how do you make them??

haha dat sounds funny

I have never heard of it and I never plan to find out anything about it because it is just some drink you are trying to use to make us waste valuable time we could be using for better things rather then talking about some stupid drink!

I haven't thought about Flaming Dr. Pepper's in years. Great question! They really do taste like Dr. Pepper. They go down smooth and easy and will get you messed up really quick. :-)

yes i have

YES!
its weird.

make one and try it.

I used to drink these all the time in college. Yes it really does taste like DR. Pepper but you have to chug it to really get the flavor.

yes it really does and you have to slam them I use to drink them ALL the time

Nope, is it good?

yes, tastes kinda similar.

I've heard of these but I have never tried one Your question has motivated me enough to go and buy some 151 so I can make some to drink at my party next Saturday.

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT. It's old recipe but it's a good one. Just becareful when you light the shot glass on fire. A friend of mine was a die hard for them and accidentally got the liquor on her fake nails caught them on fire and we like to never get them out. (Doesn't help I was laughing so hard)
