What is the best alcoholic drink you have ever had and how is it made?!

Question:

What is the best alcoholic drink you have ever had and how is it made?

I don't drink often so I would like to know what to try when I do go out.

Answers:

It all depends on your tastes, a favorite fruit drink for me is a mai tai. Light and dark rum (I prefer bacardi and meyers dark respectively), an ounce of each. half ounce of amaretto, and a splash to a half ounce of coconut rum (malibu). About 2 ounces of orange juice, and ounce of pineapple juice and 1/2 ounce of grenadine ( cherry syrup). Shake it all together, then pour into a tall glass with ice. Garnish with slice of orange and a cherry. This is a pretty alcohol heavy drink so amounts of booze can be adjusted. Once you find the right combination for yourself you'll love sipping on this delicious cocktail. There are many ingredients so it could be a little expensive for personal use but you'll have enough booze to last you for a few weeks.
Be careful when you order it at bars because there are different recipes and one recipe has only alcohol and grenadine, no fruit juice.

If you want something a little creamier I suggest a white russian. take a small rocks glass, fill with ice. Pour in an ounce to and ounce and a half of vodka (cheap stuff is more than fine but if you want it even sweeter use a vanilla or chocolate flavored vodka) then add an ounce to an ounce and a half off kahlua or other coffee flavored liqeur, and top with half and half ( milk can be substituted but will not be as rich). Mix together or leave it seperated and sit back and enjoy. This drink is also called a caucasian and was made famous by the movie The Big Lebowski. Great movie if you like bowling, john goodman and off-beat comedies
