I want to get two bottles of wine appraised. Is there a website somebody can recommend?
The wine is in a wooden box with the paperwork and includes two bottles both numbered 405. They have a 1984 date and its Cain Cellars State Grown brand. I can send somebody a picture if anybody has experience in this and would like to see them. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

There should be a book somewhere that can help you put a value to the bottles. I know there are books about antiques, so surely someone's got a book out on "vintage" wines.
If you don't want to purchase the book, your local library or Borders should have one you can peruse. Just keep in mind, the "value" of something is different for different people. Just because a book, or an "expert" tells you that something is worth $X,000 doesn't mean someone is actually willing to pay it.
No matter what, happy hunting. Sometimes just knowing you have something that could be worth a pretty penny is really cool.
