Kamikaze? how do you make that drink?!

Question:

Kamikaze? how do you make that drink?

i know its an alcoholic drink, can someone tell me how to make them?

Answers:
You have good taste, they are my favorite too.

For the actual sippy drink:
1 oz Vodka
1/2 oz Triple Sec (citrus liquer)
Lime/sour mix (most bars use the powdered drink crystals)
Shake well over ice, garnish with lime wedge.

For the shot:
1/2 oz Vodka
1/2 oz Triple Sec (more to compensate for lack of non-alchy liquid)
Shake with ice only if you like cold shots. Otherwise, don't be a wuss.
Lime wedge to suck after. Serve wedge over shot.
Yums.

All these answers are correct....
you can make the kamikaze drink or shot... both with same ingredients just more or less for drink or shot and ice of course with the drink.....
vodka
triple sec
lime juice

for a raspberry kamikaze, which is also popular, you can use a raspberry flavored vodka
triple sec
lime juice
and if you want for color and more flavor you can add chambord or another raspberry flavored liquor....

The slushy ones are the best,YUM!!!

This is how I teach new bartenders. Vodka on the rocks is a Vodka martini (no one uses vermouth anymore) add a splash of roses lime and it's a vodka gimlet, add a splash of triple sec and it's a kamikaze, add a splash of cranberry juice and it's a cosmopolitan.
