Age limit for buying alcohol.?
on saturday we went to visit my son who is in the army, we stayed with friends, my husband said to them go and get some cans and we was shocked to find out that at 20 years old they couldnt get seveved with beer my husband had to go for them , is that the new law now just seems funny they can get served in a bar but not a shop.

they have army id and can fight in wars , the legal age to drink in uk 18 but cant get served in a shop , next it will be cola.

18 is the leagal age in uk you just cannot get served in shops with it, but then again im 47 and was asked if i was over 18 at gala bingo last week, i was flattered.

21 to buy a beer,but you can fight for your country at 18 !! go figure that one. If you can fight for your country at 18, I think you should be able to BUY A BEER !
