Smithwicks (fine drinking establishments in Chicago). Sam Adams used to be my favorite, but then I tried Smithwicks. Although I feel a little unpatriotic that I've switched to an import, my tastebuds have spoken.

cerveza negra, the philippines. it's dark, it's smooth, it has a higher alcohol content than US and european beers, and it has a grapey aftertaste that rocks when you run your tongue over your lips.
red horse extra strong beer, the philippines. it's served in half-liter bottles, it's so strong that a bottle can send you weaving, but it tastes smooth and there's just a hint of sweetness to it.
