I need to know the amount of sodium in the average american beer.?
I am limited to 1000mgs of sodium per day. I cannot find any dfinitive answer to how much sodium is in any specific beer. I prefer "Ice" beers such as Milwaukees Best or Natural Ice. I cannot drink "hard liquor" ( cardiomiopathy), and limit my beers to 3 a day. In order to calculate what amount of sodium I can have in my meals, I need an answer to this question. Even my Cardioligist doesn't know. Any helps appreciated!!
Answers: 1.5grams per oz....18 in a full 12 oz can.
