Chianti from Macaroni Grill?!

Question:

Chianti from Macaroni Grill?

I really enjoy the Chianti from Macaroni Grill but can't find it in anywhere except the restaurant. It's impractical for me to buy at $35 a bottle. What suggestions do you have on finding a similar Chianti at a more reasonable price. Thanks.

Answers: I would suggest calling the restaurant and asking for a discounted price on a minimum order of say 6. $35 is way too much to spend on a bottle of their house wine. I like it, but will not pay that much! of which chianti do you speak? Do you know the name of the Chianti or the company that makes it?

I am sure they have a website that you could buy it from cheaper. I like Ruffino Chianti Ask your local discount wineshop in your area to see if they can make a special order for you by the case. Italian Chianti is wildly overpriced in the US. Look for Carlo Rossi Chianti in the half gallon bottle, its probably what's poured at middle grade restaurants like the Macaroni Grill.
