i mean for somereason its taste reminds me of coffee. i mean if you like it cool but there are some people who drink it to be more sophisticated or mature. when not even a week ago they wouldn't of touched it. i just dont like when people fake the funk.

i mean for somereason its taste reminds me of coffee. i mean if you like it cool but there are some people who drink it to be more sophisticated or mature. when not even a week ago they wouldn't of touched it. i just dont like when people fake the funk. there are soooo many different kinds of beer, and so many different kinds of people. if you ever get a chance to go to Germany for Oktoberfest , GO! its amazing all the different beers you'll see. or go to the capital brewery in washington D.C. they have 1000, yes, 1000 beers on tap. Even YOU might find a dark lager you enjoy. Ummmm.. *lol* I will make a guess that they probably do enjoy dark beer. =) Duh....because they actually do! I like dark beer because they taste good - I dont act - maybe because its dark, hmmmm... what a novel idea I love dark beers, especially Guinness.
Anyone who "acts" like they enjoy it are just trying to be cool. I say drink whatever you think tasted good. maybe it makes them feel more sophisticated!! or they think Guiness is delicious in the first place. mmmm My first drink was Guinness right off the tap in the Dublin factory. I loved it then and still do. How could anyone not? You need to have a fully developed, educated pallette.It's no act. I enjoy Guinness more than babies like candy. On the other hand, I cannot abide a blood red beet to pass these jaded, Guinness swigging lips. If you don't like it, don't drink it but don't imagine that those of us who do are only pretending to do so just to bug you or something. I think the real question is, how can you not like dark beers like Guinness? Afterall, it is a beer that tastes like what beer is supposed to taste like. Not like that piss colored water that Bud, Miller, and Coors has. You imply that they drink dark beers but actually do not like them! Why? Is it beyond your understanding that many people really do like them? If you don't, then don't drink the dark beers! I don't care for them either but know many who do. It's lucky for all of us that exposure to beers of the world broadens every year. I've found some really nice beers and ales out there. act? sorry, guinness is a better beer than that lame a.s.s. s.h.i.t. domestick crap you drink only to get a buzz.

hoppy flavor. Lots of people enjoy Guinness, myself included. I don't drink it to be pretentious. We don't act like we enjoy it, we actually are enjoying it. It's better than that watered down, massed produced, drink it well chilled, canned American shi....stuff.
