What food goes well with vodka?!

Question:

What food goes well with vodka?

Answers: I lived in Russia for a few years & if you drink Vodka it is normal to have long slices of cucumber covered in salt just as a side dish ! But most Russians serve up Vodka as we would serve up wine at a gathering of friends I once was waiting for a flight back to Moscow & was served a long glass of Vodka along with cold tinned peas & cold sausage at 06:00 for breakfast !!!!!! Any hearty Russian meal would work. what doesn't?!?! dude anything goes good with vodka A hamburger supper? lol. Just not diced carrots! Everything but milk. I've started enjoying it with Gatorade/Powerade...whatever. But hell, juice, soda, anything. Vodka's great. I drink Vodka but usually not while eating...I typically crave chips or McDonalds after my drinkin' is midway or done. I don't think Vodka is typically meant to be as a drink with a meal, since it's taste doesn't really compliment anything else like beer or wine does. steak Every thing but don't forget the lime juice vodka without lime is nasty! To be honest stick to tomato based recipes, as being a clear spirit, it really does not enhance the flavours of food at all. Salmon sandwiches.
