As far as I know, itz not going to help for me. Absinthe is a liquor that was banned along time ago made from wormwood. Its suppossed to make you hallucinate. I think they banned it because it made people crazy. I don't think you can buy it in the US but you may be able to get it in France or other places in Europe. Myself, I read about it but never wanted to try it. I've never tried it but I have friends who have. They loved it. I heard that it is not as potent as it once was, which is why Switzerland re-legalized it in 2005. I could be wrong though.

You can probably buy it somewhere in the US but I don't know where because it's illegal here. There are, however, websites online that will ship it to anywhere...but it's pricey.

Try: http://www.eabsinthe.com In the late 19th century and early 20th century, absinthe was widely used by the artistic communities in Europe. It is rumoured that Van Gogh was drunk on absinthe when he cut his own ear off. It used to give hallucinations because of the high wormwood content. It was banned worldwide however, due to the hallucinatory quality and because it "drove people mad".
In the early 90's, absinthe was made again but with far less wormwood in it. Its only legal in 34 countries around the world at the moment, luckily South Africa [where I live] is one of these. It doesn't make you hallucinate but the buzz/high/drunkeness that you get from it is slightly different than normal liquor such as tequila etc. I really like it and over here its not so expensive, less expensive in fact than many other alcoholic beverages.
I know its illegal in the US, so if you hail from there you will only be able to obtain it illegally which I wouldn't recommend. Not for law/moral reasons, but because it may contain substances that's very bad for you as it won't be regulated.
Beware the green fairy.... ;P
