Margarita Recipe?!

Question:

Margarita Recipe?

There are some margarita mixes you can buy in the supermarket, but I have no money. Is there a way to make a good margarita at home?

Can you give me the recipe to one?

Does the taste change a lot or taste badly if you don't add the triple sec?

Traditional Margarita
A frozen margarita, is made using crushed ice, while the traditional style margarita can be made by straining ice with a shaker

2lime wedges, plus some for rim of the glass
salt
2 oz Tequila
1 oz Triple Sec
2 oz fresh squeezed lime juice
1 cup of ice cubes
Rub the rim of a chilled margarita or martini glass with one of the lime wedges. Dip rim of the glass into salt. Place tequila, lime juice, Triple Sec or Cointreau and the ice cubes in a shaker. Shake 20-30 times then strain into cocktail glass. Garnish with a lime wedge.

t-keee-la, salt on hand, sounds sexyyy

Frozen limeade will do the trick. It's similar to sours/marguerita mixer and is less than $1.00.

Additional info: Regarding your question on triple sec. If you use limeade, or use a simple syrup (sugar-water) with fresh lime, there won't be an appreciable difference in flavor if you don't use triple sec. (it's BETTER with it, but you're trying to save $ -- the premade marguerita mixers don't have it, and you just add tequila to them)
