Second part to the Margarita Recipe question?
If you don't add the triple sec and just use tequila, does the taste change too much or taste bad?
Answers:
Add a little sugar to the blender if you don′t have the triple sec, add fresh lime juice and your good to go.
A really fast "Margarita" substitute is Fresca and Tequila...tasty.

it tastes pretty bad without the triplesec, you need something sweet, you could maybe use a schnapps or something else instead of triple sec.
triple sec is what makes it sweet. you need to add something else or you're just basically doing shots of tequila... nothing wrong with that! Just not a margarita!
a little different, it would taste more wattered down.
