Question:

I was wondering which wine would be suited best for orange sherbet?

that I bought at Braun's last week? any one able to help me out with this?

Answers: Something sparkling and a little sweet, like an Asti Spumanti....you go! Yummy! Sherbert is made to go with anything. Its primarily used as a mid course to cleanse the pallette, So anything will work. I think champagne or a sparkling wine would be best A sparkling white, and chocolate. why not just throw the sherbet in a blender with some vodka and make a screwdriver smoothie? I can't imagine orange with a red. I'd stick to a white or blush - not too sweet. I like the idea of a sparkling wine and chocolate, mentioned above. Go with dark chocolate and a gewurtztraminer. I'd go with champagne - not the cheap crap from CA, either. A sparkling white, champagne or asti spumante. The slightly sweet wine would go well with the sweet, slightly astringent taste of the citrus. strawberry boones farm... nah! done use wine! use regular seltzer water. it makes a big splash and tastes greater than the wine! test it out first, and see what you think,,, even try orange seltzer. hey, its worth the try and i am sure you''l love it more than the wine combo. hey try it, you make like it.lol
