Answers: You can store it in the freezer. Freezer is just fine. It won't freeze. No benefit to storing it in warming location. You can store any liquor in the freezer... alcohol doesn't freeze... well hard alcohol anyways. Freezer's fine. I suppose you could but I don't know why you would want to. Though I guess ice cold without having to water it down with ice would be nice. Doesn't matter if the lid is on tight it won't freeze and will last 100 years either way. Yeah store it in the freezer. Its always the coldest it can get and if you mix your drink quick you wont need ice, so it wont be diluted! Sure you can. It is great for making martini's without melting too much ice. You get a better buzz! The freezer is good. It will be very cold but should not freeze. Alcohol do not freeze so the more alcohol in it will cause it to get very cold but wont freeze. I always keep the gin in the freezer. Just don't store the vermouth or olives in there. Absolutely! No ice necessary- so no diluted drinks. Just don't store it up too high- those bottles can get a-moving by accident. I agree with the masses here; alcohol won't freeze. Ready-mixed drinks WILL, however, so be mindful of those coolers, lemonades, etc.

Also, keep the bottle away from warmer areas like near the stove or other heating elements when you take it from the freezer. The glass can break.

CHEERS! Yes. However, this is only recommended if you are drinking straight gin, ie. as a shot, not mixing. If you are planning to make martinis or any other mixed drink, water is an integral part of the cocktail, and having the gin in the freezer would not allow a proper reaction to occur. It won't hurt the gin if it is in the freezer but know this, when it gets that cold it will dull the taste. I would say just keep it in the liqueur cabinet, and if your having a party just keep it on ice.
