Im 18 soon and heard the drinking age is changing. its so unfair
Answers: There is talk of it going up to 21 sometime next year, but it hasn't been finalised as yet. I don;t think it is.
Driving is going up to 18, as is smoking, but think drinking isn;t changing. oh what???im 18 on friday are they taking the mick? tough...it's 21 here in the US More to life than boozing.Think of the money you will save. I think they are just thinking about doing it at the moment - they seem to be thinking about doing a lot of things. It changes from 18 to 14 every friday night down at the cockwell Inn Tillet Herts. They're only talking about it at the moment, nothing has been decided either way it honestly isnt going up. they were thinking about it but thought it would never work. no idea, i know in supermarkets its 21 to buy now but havent heard anything about it coming perm everywhere FIGHT FOR THE RIGHT TO DRINK AT 18!! I had to wait until I was 21 here in the U.S. I don't drink very much, but I feel less guilty buying beer at the store now. Seriously though, is it abused that bad in the U.K.? I think if they allowed 18 year olds to legally drink here in the U.S. it would cause a whole lot of trouble. is not the drinking age but the smoking age is on the 1st of October and the driving is going up to 18 but dont know when There are currently no definite plans to change the age when you can legally have a drink. the drinking has has changed in some shops in scotland to 21 but most of shops are still 18 but i am 18 and i still get pissed It is 18 and will stay 18, there is not talk of change, at that's fact
