Answers: As long as you're paying for the essentials first (roof over your head/food on the table/bills etc) then a little luxury is fine. Though of course if you're really on the bread line even cheap beer is a luxury. Are you drinking to get drunk or drinking for the taste. If it is the former, buy the cheapest beer you can find. If it is the later, treat yourself to the good stuff now and then. i say save the money and don't drink at all! Why is there even a choice here? Samuel Adams isn't ridiculously expensive, and it beats the dreck that Bud, Miller, Coors, and any other brewer that places quantity over quality, puts out.

So go for a Samuel Adams. ALWAYS a good choice. Drink whatever tastes good to you. I've said for years, "Life's too short to drink cheap booze or smoke cheap cigars." That goes for cheap beer as well. Go for the Sam Adams. Savor life don't just run roughshod through it.
