If you are in Turkey, why not have an Efes? I certainly have, it's not a bad beer. A bit hoppy and fizzy, but then you can't get real ale in Asia Minor.
Trouble is, I have often imbibed the Efes not wisely, but too well and woken up with the Efes Haze, hence the nickname.

The only thing I can remember about Efes beer is that is was really really cheap when we were on holiday! Can't actually remember much about the holiday at all.
yeah. the pilsner is rather strong but not too bad a taste.
yes - I like it and although it's strong, you dont get bad hangovers with it. Happy Days !!!
yeah, I had it in Turkey last year. I preferred it in bottles, than on draught, but then I always prefer bottled beer.

we were in turkey last year and efes is good - bit gassy - you can buy it here but its not the same - could be cos we havnt got the same climate and we have to work here not holiday lol
