Answers:
I am the queen of the wine cheese party!!! This is my pairing guide. My favorite pairing is Sauternes and gorgonzola. OMG!!! The sweetness from the wine and the tart creaminess of the cheese are a great combo.

Asti Spumanti - baby swiss
Beaujolais - US brie, feta, muenster
Bordeaux - havarti
Cabernet Sauvignon - US brie, camembert, strong cheddar, Danish blue
Champagne - vintage brie, mild cheddar, chevre, colby, edam, gouda
Chardonnay - mild cheddar, gruyere, provolone
Chenin Blanc - camembert
Gewurztraminer - boursin, caraway, chevre, swiss
Madeira - bleu
Riesling - cheshire, colby, edam, gouda, monterey jack
Rioja - strong cheddar, havarti
Sancerre - goat cheese
Sauternes - gorgonzola
Sauvignon Blanc - strong cheddar, gruyere
Sherry - bleu
Sherry, sweet - vintage brie
Port, Tawny - bleu, roquefort, stilton
Vouvray - goat cheese
White Zinfandel - cream cheese

Depends on the wine...

I'd say serve a block of yellow cheese or white either way they both usually taste great? as far as wine >.> thats such a wierd question imo!

With red I would go with Brie and some wheat crackers. Maybe some fruit too.
