Been violated? How about this one?
I clicked on the ARGENTINIAN icon and got lots of questions in that language. I read one and, out of sheer curiosity, I asked: "What does this question mean?" wondering if my words would be translated into Argentian or remain in English.
It was not translated and, whilst other answers were in Argentian, mine was in English.
For that I receive a VIOLATION!!! Which was upheld!!!
Are violations just a joke??
Answers: Sounds very unfair considering what else stays on. I suppose you must have got one for using the incorrect language, and answering a question with a question.

Sometimes ppl just didn't like how you answered the question. i gotten 2 already... hahaha! But i have to admit i had the thought of dissin them off.... :) The simple answer is yes, they are a joke. I've been pooping in the tub a lot lately, and I have REALLY got to watch my P's and Q's.......

The rules clearly state you must post in the language of that site and no other!!!
The joke is on you!!! Happens all the time. I must have about 40 vios mostly for telling people their questions are not proper or out of taste Now what would you do if somebody answered yor question in cantonese or something? i Afraid so. I got one for a question I did not answer in the first place, so yes it is all a big joke and I got points deducted as well. Yes, they are a joke - don't worry about it
BTW Argentinians speak Spanish, not "Argentinian" what can you expect for a country that invented something as evil and dangerous as the corned beef tin got to answer in same language Warrick hunt your *ss is grass When I read the heading I thought someone violated you in other ways ... getting a violation in yahoo is ok ... getting violated is another thing altogether yes they are i dont even think yahoo look at the question or the answer they just dish out a violation

i wouldnt let it get to you :-) Lol I think so - I've just got a violation for saying that I think talking about Christmas should be illegal til 1st December! Obviously the people running the violations website are Christmas Elves! Cos I can't think of anyone else who would be so offended by that!! It has also happened to me by sometimes sprinkling my reply with other languages. It's a machine that relegates the violations and so.... it happened to me in YA USA when i included a word in Spanish too.some people are sensitive and i guess think -because they speak no English,in this case in YA ARGENT-you could be making fun of them.but one time i asked something in Spanish-in Y Argentina -i asked for a recipe-and they also did that.however in yahoo Italy after having asked how to make sauce for egg noodles,they banned it.i got notice,wrote back -on that same violation notice page and they"studied_"the case and gave me back my 10 points.the question was really just that!nothing bad.

good luck. I can`t agree more, there was and still is a guy on here log in name Steven c, he has insulted the handicapped, the gay`s, and stuff I just can not repeat yet after he was reported by lo`ts of us they still let him active on here yes, fella you are 100% right, a pure JOKE!!!!
