How long can i survive on beer, water, and gram crackers?!

Question:

How long can i survive on beer, water, and gram crackers?

I know I'll get sick eventually, but can i actually die from it?

Answers: my father had his jaw broken in a bar fight and had it wired shut. He lived on nothing but beer for 2 months I would say a very long time. It also depends on the percentage of each. If you drink beer as much as you drink water and eat gram crackers, you are most likely going to suffer liver damage sooner than later. However, if your beer intake is lower than the water and gram cracker intake, you can live on that for a long time before getting sick. Isn't this the college diet anyway, lol (just kidding)? But when you get sick, the beer will dehydrate you too. So, not a diet a would recommend. Scurvy. Rickets. Pellagra. Once upon a time before we knew about vitamins these deficiencies did kill people. you can definietly live a long time at that, although they are hardly substantial && will not provide much benefit at all. hopefully you have a fair amount of graham crackers! but seriously: sickness will come && if youhr body is not able to fight it off [immune system is not getting essential vitamins...] it could get serious. i don't reccamend this diet of yours, but it is liveable. You'll never know until you try it, right? i don't know how long you will live; maybe coupes o years more or less only god nows. A fairly long time, actually. The main problem with such a diet is the lack of protein & fat (although darker beers do provide a little bit of that) and vitamin C. From a nutritional point of view, beer is essentially liquid bread. So it would be the same as if you lived on nothing but bread and water all the time. The link below would give you an idea of what would happen if you lived on such a diet.
